The queer of my life | K. Sathya Keerthi | TEDxYouth@AmbitusVijayawada

A Photojournalist by profession, the ambitious, independent small-town boy who became the voice of the LGBT+ community. K Satya Keerthi upon completing his post graduation and working for the reputed national newspaper,he had to experience negative remarks from the society. Since then he began conducting and has been a part of several campaigns to educate society about the rights of his community and its people.
His talk speech will change our perspective towards the LGBT + and given us an insight into their trials and tribulations.

Sathya Keerthi, hails from a small town Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, He is a gay & got accustomed to feeling different from others in high school. He moved to Chennai to pursue B.sc in Visual communication. Post graduation, he pursued a Photo Journalism course in Mumbai. After his course study, he got an opportunity to work with a reputed newspaper as a Photojournalist in Hyderabad and that certainly gave him the confidence to lead life independently. It gave him the exposure to face any situation in life and completed 4years of open approach.
