WHERE’S THE 8?!? #shorts

Indian recreational math genius D.R. Kaprekar has a set of numbers named after him, and a Kaprekar number occurs when you square that number, then add up the resulting digits to the original number. So, 55 is Kaprekar because squaring it gives you 3,025, and 30 + 25 = 55. You’d think that most Kaprekars are small, but… no. And even 1,111,111,111 is Kaprekar.

BUT WHERE’S THE 8?
